SDSBOX Full Navigation System
SDS ceramic dental implants made from white zirconium dioxide meet the highest standards in terms of biocompatibility, tolerance, health, and aesthetics.
The zirconium oxide ceramic implants from SDS are by no means all that have been or are currently being tested by the CleanImplant institution: The SDS BOX FULL NAVIGATION SYSTEM navigation system, which was developed on the basis of the “2ingis” surgical guide system, was awarded the “Approved by CleanImplant” seal for residue-free implantology by the time it is approved for marketing – making it the first dental navigation system with the coveted seal of approval on the market. The “2ingis” guides have been adapted to the ceramic implants and the other all-ceramic drilling components in such a way that insertion can take place without contamination. The special feature here is that the system is not guided by a central metallic drill sleeve, which inevitably always involves material abrasion. Instead of drill sleeves, there are two lateral guide sleeves, which in turn are attached in two guide arms directly to the contra-angle handpiece and allow a direct view of the surgical site as well as very precise insertion of the implant (Fig. 4). Any attachment that fits into a contra-angle handpiece via an ISO adapter can therefore be used with the SDS BOX FULL NAVIGATION SYSTEM. The ceramic drills without a central drill sleeve prevent any contamination whatsoever during drilling, punching or implant insertion, in line with the CleanImplant Initiative.
